The response of our congregation caused this message to grow into a series of five sermons which were preached on Sunday mornings. If we believe the Bible is our sole authority of faith and practice, then the foundation of our position on which version we use should come from the Scriptures itself. This message focuses on the capability of spiritual understanding and the error of trusting in scholars who critique the Bible without any of their own.
